About the Role:
Were seeking professional and compassionate Call Center Representatives to join our healthcare customer service team supporting a leading health this role youll serve as the first point of contact for members and providers helping resolve inquiries related to health insurance coverage benefits claims authorizations and more.
This is an onsite role based in Albany NY and requires strong communication skills attention to detail and a desire to support individuals navigating their health benefits.
What Youll Do:
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from members and providers with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with benefit inquiries claims status eligibility verification and authorizations
- Educate members on plan coverage services and processes
- Accurately document all call activity in internal systems
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Escalate urgent or complex matters appropriately
- Meet quality assurance call handling and productivity metrics
What Were Looking For:
- At least 1 2 years of customer service or call center experience (healthcare or insurance preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to handle sensitive member concerns with patience and professionalism
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
