Job Description
The Marshall University Speech and Hearing Center MUSHC currently provides a variety of evaluation and therapeutic services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. It is an essential component of the Department of Communication Disorders academic program and serves as a clinical site for both undergraduate and graduate students. Furthermore the MUSHC is one of the largest outpatient speech and hearing centers serving the tristate community. The role of this position is twofold 1 provide clinical services to children and with communication and/or swallowing disorders and 2 provide clinical education/supervision to students to ensure they receive the necessary experience to meet the standards for certification for the American Speech Language Hearing Association. May also be assigned to teach laboratories which are clinical in nature. Services may be rendered on and offcampus per assignment by the Chair or Director of Clinical Education.
