This position requires 2nd and/or 3rd shift and some weekend availability. A Valid and Clean Drivers License is also required. Your day as a Direct Support Professionals
As a Direct Support Professional at The Arc of ChemungSchuyler your daily responsibilities will focus on providing individualized support to clients with disabilities. Youll assist with personal care daily living activities and social integration ensuring that each individual leads a fulfilling and independent life. Expect to help clients set and achieve personal goals and facilitate community outings that encourage socialization and skillbuilding. Youll also collaborate with coworkers and family members to develop tailored care plans monitor progress and address any challenges that arise. This role requires maintaining a safe and supportive environment while being an empathetic problem solver.
