Job Description

Seeking qualified applicants for the Campus Recreation Graduate Assistant position. The position can be a oneyear or twoyear track. Available programs include Master of Science in Business Sports Management Track; Master of Education .; or Master of Science in Business Design & Innovation Track.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the planning and promotion of all intramural and Campus Recreation programming.
  • Help with dayofevent logistics for every intramural and Campus recreation event.
  • Assist with logistics and coordination of External Events hosted in Campus Recreation Facilities.
  • Supervise student employees for our campus recreation facilities.
  • Aid student leads with the scheduling of student employees.
  • Run the social media accounts for Campus Recreation and Intramurals.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and inviting presentation in all of our campus recreation facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Admission into Carthage Colleges graduate program
  • Previous experience working with recreation programs or facilities.
  • Excellent organizational interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
