Job Description
This position is categorically funded position is contingent upon continued funding and Board approval. Yuba College is seeking an equity-minded dynamic collaborative and innovative employee to serve as the Campus Life Technician. BASIC FUNCTION : Under the direction of an administrator or designee coordinate college student activities including scheduling and facilitation of student events and direct interaction with student groups and clubs to include fiscal support; coordinate student government elections; assist with commencement ceremonies and annual awards events.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Valid drivers license Class C and a clean DMV record ENVIRONMENT : Typical office environment Driving a vehicle to conduct work evening or variable hours PHYSICAL ABILITIES : Communicating to exchange information. Reading various materials. Operate a computer keyboard. Sitting for extended periods of time. Bending at the waist kneeling or crouching. Lifting carrying pushing and pulling heavy objects.
Required Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Any combination equivalent to: Associates degree in psychology sociology recreation administration or a related field and two years of experience in a community agency college student activities or residential life that initiates and administers student related or community services.
