Job Description
Duration: TemptoHire
Location: OnsiteLas Vegas NV
Salary Range: $50000$60000 annually depending on experience and education full time medical benefits until going perm
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries
Analysis
Audit and analyze accounting activities including sales accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
Process accounts payable and payroll
Prepare and submit tax reports to various agencies including the Internal Revenue Service
Manage and record transactions for client accounts accurately and prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts
Regularly prepare federal and multiple state returns
Prepare budgets and performance reports including analytics
Balance intercompany accounts and reconcile bank and credit card statements
Use QuickBooks Enterprise Edition for various accounting functions
Analyze and propose improvements to accounting processes
Use Office Suite proficiently with an emphasis on Excel.
Requirements:
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Experience with Bank Reconciliations
Proficient in managing and maintaining the General Ledger
Ability to create and post Journal Entries
Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
Proficiency in using QuickBooks software for accounting tasks
Experience in conducting Audit procedures and processes
Strong analytical skills for financial Analysis
Ability to create and manage Cash Flow Forecasts
Experience in preparing Multistate Tax Returns
