Job Description:

Join AT&T in safeguarding FirstNet the nations dedicated highspeed broadband network for first responders established by Congress in 2012. This vital position ensures the security and reliability of emergency communications through cuttingedge vulnerability management adherence to NIST frameworks and proactive risk mitigation strategies across diverse technology domains including LTE 5G IoT and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure FirstNets applications and infrastructure comply with NIST SP 80053 standards. Develop tailored security policies for EPC core RAN and IoT devices to address unique challenges and enforce robust procedures safeguarding system integrity and supply chains.
Detect process gaps across teams (BSS/OSS Mobility Labs etc. and implement shortterm fixes while designing longterm automated solutions to mitigate risks and optimize security workflows.
Validate track and manage hardware/software assets using automated tools oversee endoflife cycles and collaborate with vendors to enforce supply chain security.
Implement change management processes to ensure IT system modifications meet security standards.
Conduct credentialbased scans to identify and analyze security weaknesses.
Provide actionable insights to address vulnerabilities monitor trends and ensure thorough review and approval processes are in place.
As a proactive selfstarter you will directly contribute to safeguarding the communications lifeline for first responders ensuring its reliability and resilience during emergencies.
This role is pivotal in protecting public safety infrastructure through precisiondriven databacked cybersecurity strategies.

Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelors degree in Information Systems Engineering or Cyber Security.
Requires 35 years of related experience.
Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred skills: Certification or experience in risk management cybersecurity or related roles.
Preferred proficiency in one or more skills/tools to analyze and present security risk by using tools associated with credentialbased vulnerability scanning encryption technology containers (e.g. Kubernetes Docker) databases (e.g. Oracle MySQL) ServiceNow GRC PowerBI Python Snowflake
The ideal candidate has experience in explaining security controls and reviewing evidence of compliance leveraging security frameworks (e.g. NIST/ISO 3GPP GSMA standards) NIST 80053 compliance and/or conversant with Mobility Security 3GPP 3rd Generation Partnership Project) and GSMA (GSM Association) standards/guidelines.
Experience in supporting a federal cybersecurity program particularly in creating an approval security documentation package for FEDRAMP or familiarity with the FirstNet program and standards security is a significant advantage
