Job Description
Kern Regional Center is one of 21 private nonprofit regional centers contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate communitybased services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Kern Regional Center services over 10000 individuals in Kern Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22000 square miles with a population of over 945000 people.
The Compliance Manager plays a key supportive role in ensuring Kern Regional Center (KRC) meets agencywide performance transparency and compliance standards. The Compliance Manager works collaboratively to support KRCs equity and compliance priorities including the oversight of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) performance metrics. This position contributes to continuous improvement by coordinating internal compliance efforts and supporting departmental adherence to regulations policies and performance objectives.
- Bachelors degree Public Administration Social Work Psychology Health Services Administration Business Administration or Law or Criminal Justice or any related human services field from an accredited school. Or any combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Bilingual language fluency (Spanish/English) highly desired but not required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stay overnight to hold meetings and attend trainings when necessary.
- May be required to visit other locations.
