At Ancora Home Health and Hopice we are expanding our Home Health & Hospice teams providing compassionate care to patients in their homes and are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Home Health & Hospice Certified Nurse Assistant CNA who shares our desire to make healthcare better for everyone.

COMPENSATION: $26$29/visit DOE
STATUS: FullTime employee
SCHEDULE: MF 8am to 5pm
LOCATION: Anchorage AK

Job Summary
Join our Ancora Family as a Home Health & Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) also called a Home Health Aide (HHA) where you will play a crucial role ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. Our CNA Caregivers assist patients by providing personal care such as grooming and bathing especially for those with limited mobility. They support patients in eating monitor and report vital signs and any notable patient behaviors to the medical team. Additionally they aid in patient mobility including transfers between wheelchairs and beds and routinely adjust patients positioning in bed to prevent bedsores and enhance comfort. Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Alaska
- Home Health and/or Hospice experience as an CNA preferred
- Ability to utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills
- Valid Drivers License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Valid AK Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
- Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
