The #1 Spa in Myrtle Beach (Tripadvisoris looking for talented professional dedicated Licensed Massage Therapists that will contribute to our 5 star reputation. The right candidate will possess extensive skills in massage therapy and body treatments along with experience in delivering the best in in guest services. Massage therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. Therapists relieve pain help heal injuries improve circulation relieve stress increase relaxation and aid in the general wellness of clients. This is a commission based role with earning potential $50 $70 per hour.
Compensation
- Commission based role with hourly earning potential $50 $70 / hour
- Commission based role with guarantee pay of $9 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidates skill experience education and/or location.
- Commission Rate of 25 per service
- Gratuity Rate of 20 (guaranteed rate)

What youll do
- Provide 55 or 80 minute massages to clients by appointment
- Consult with clients regarding service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
- Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
- Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
- Advise clients on stretching strengthening or relaxation methods
- Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
- Ensure a clean safe and wellorganized spa facility.
- Set up spa and work stations and ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shift.
- Assist with keeping linens clean and tidy and replacing them between sessions.
- Sterilize equipment.
- Complying with all applicable standards rules and regulations.
What Youll Need:
- State certification for Massage Therapy
- Commitment to ongoing annual education
Skills and Position Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of Swedish hot stone custom massage and body scrub wrap techniques..
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Wellgroomed professional appearance.
- Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable with performing massages on diverse clients.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of fitness equipment preferred
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday early mornings and evenings as needed.
- Occasional need to perform housekeeping and/or inspection duties
- Ability to stand sit and walk for an extended period of time
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push pull and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend stoop squat kneel and twist
- Ability to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
