The Hospital Assistant III under the supervision of the Practice Manager guided by the policies and procedures of the Center for Reproductive Health and Ambulatory Services and in collaboration with the physician staff has the clinical responsibility for developing and maintaining a high standard of patient care. S/he will perform clinical duties and care coordination specific to unassisted and assisted reproductive techniques as well as Andrology and gynecological treatment. Primary responsibility is to perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the primary and specialty care services provided to patients within the practice. The HAIII is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff and for daily operations. All components of care will be individualized to meet the patients physiological and psychosocial development level and needs. The HAIII consistently projects a professional and courteous demeanor and shall comply with the Medical Center House and Telephone Standards.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $32.86 $41.01 (Hourly Rate).

Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification.
One year of experience as a Medical Assistant/Hospital Assistant in a medical practice
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Previous Fertility experience
Previous APEX and IDEAS experience
License/Certification
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
