Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist for our Dallas TX facility. The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of BGSG Supply Chain team for KC46 and T7 aircraft. Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance. Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities. Enters tracks monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders. Processes material returned from customers. Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities capacity and performance. Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engages stakeholders to ensure that program customer product and inservice strategies are integrated into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Optimizes of the supply chain balancing inventory supply orders and schedule demand.
- Manages performance and relationship to ensure delivery quality financial stability and inservice performance.
- Mitigates risks and issues.
- Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement/Program Management/Project Management or Finance
- Experience in GOLD procurement systems or other supply chain systems
- Ability to travel 10 of the time.
- Microsoft office
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher preferred.
- Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
- 4 years experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
