Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough Manayunk East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and xrays.
Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established clinical protocols.
Handle administrative tasks as needed including documentation and patient communication.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Per Diem
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
Experience in urgent care emergency medicine or a related field.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work per diem shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
