Mon Fri 7:30 am 4:30pm40 hours per week

Were looking for a Parts Associate to join our fastpaced Parts team. The Parts Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and exceptional customer service. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments managing inventory assisting customers with parts selection and supporting the daily operations of the parts department. The ideal candidate is adaptable detailoriented and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist customers with selecting parts and accessories providing recommendations based on their needs. Answer incoming phone calls addressing customer inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Receive inspect and document incoming shipments verifying contents against purchase orders or packing slips and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments ensuring proper labeling and timely delivery to customers or other locations. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other equipment to safely move load and unload inventory maintaining current forklift certification and participating in ongoing training.
  • Perform regular inventory counts (including cycle counts) to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels including stocking shelves organizing parts and maintaining an orderly workspace.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues regarding parts pricing or availability in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve shipping or inventory issues ensuring timely resolution of delays or errors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies safety procedures and regulatory requirements related to shipping receiving and inventory management.
  • Assist with parts procurement including sourcing and specialorder requests to meet customer needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Organize and maintain core bank and perform core returns in accordance with Paccar and supplier policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels including stocking shelves organizing parts maintaining an orderly workspace and processing customer orders accurately.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in Parts or Service in Heavy Duty Truck & Transport or the Automotive industry.

Additional Strengths:

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills particularly in a retail or parts environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and Time Management Skills.
