Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeping Laundry & Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! This role is responsible for overseeing housekeeping laundry and maintenance operations ensuring the facility remains clean safe and wellmaintained for residents staff and visitors. Success in this position requires strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Your Impact as a Housekeeping Laundry & Maintenance Supervisor
In this role you will:
- Hire Train & Supervise Staff: Recruit train evaluate and oversee housekeeping laundry and maintenance staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate Department Schedules: Schedule housekeeping laundry and maintenance staffing hours based on census and budget requirements.
- Oversee Facility Cleanliness: Ensure the facility meets sanitation infection control and cleanliness standards through regular inspections.
- Manage Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment and facility infrastructure remain in optimal working condition.
- Monitor Laundry Operations: Oversee the proper handling washing drying and distribution of linens and resident laundry.
- Stock & Order Supplies: Order and maintain inventory of cleaning laundry and maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
- Ensure Fire & Safety Compliance: Conduct and document fire control system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
- Train Staff in Proper Cleaning Techniques: Provide jobspecific training for housekeeping laundry and maintenance personnel ensuring compliance with proper cleaning laundry and infection control techniques.
- Oversee Outside Contractors: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for major repairs and deep cleaning services as needed.
- Respond to Maintenance Issues: Address facility repairs and maintenance concerns promptly to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Has experience in housekeeping laundry or facility maintenance supervision preferably in a healthcare or longterm care setting.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple departments.

- Possesses strong communication skills and can train and lead a team effectively.
- Understands preventive maintenance programs and can oversee basic facility upkeep.
- Has experience managing supply inventories and working within a budget.
