The TriCities market consists of 29 counties throughout Northeast TN Northeast VA Southwest VA Western NC and Eastern KY. The group provides services to Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) a Level I Trauma Center offering a full range of specialized medical care including Neuroendovascular surgery neurosurgery cardiovascular surgery (including TAVR) and comprehensive stroke center. In addition the critical care team is working with the cardiothoracic surgery team and a regional major academic medical center to develop an ECMO program. A successful candidate will have a strong interest in teaching.
