JOB DESCRIPTION
I. JOB DETAILS
Job Title
Attending Consultant

II. JOB PURPOSE
To ensure smooth services in the hospital and take care of Inpatients in I.C.U.
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
- Assessing and diagnosing patients to determine if and what kind of treatment they may need.
- Meeting with the families of patients to keep them updated on the patients condition and surgery details.
- Keeping records of patients their diagnosis and medical history.
- Writing prescriptions for patients for all needed medication.
- Ordering performing and interpreting results of diagnostic tests such as bronchoscopy endoscopy.
- Assessing and diagnosing patients prescribing treatments and monitoring the patients progress.
- Performing basic administrative and business tasks attend the outside camp writing prescriptions and filling out paperwork.
- To be available for emergency calls.
- To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.
- To facilitate teaching and training programs of nurses Technicians I.C.U. staff.
- To provide medical care as required by the patients admitted in critical care units.
- To co- ordinate on matters relating to Provision of infrastructure and maintenance support selection of medical consumables and equipment to be procured.
- Keep detailed records of procedures.
- Teamwork with nurses technical staff other doctors and any medical students in the workplace.
- Filling out all paperwork involved in each process.
IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Measurable Deliverables
- 100 compliance in the documentation part.
- Confidently handle medical responsibilities independently without errors or complaints
.
V. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATION
Minimum Qualification
- MBBS MD/DNB Pulmonary Critical Care
Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
