Job Description
Role Summary
Digital Experience (DX) is a USD 4B business serving the needs of enterprise businesses including 95 of fortune 500 organizations.
Adobe Marketo Engage within Adobe DX is the worlds largest marketing automation platform is a singular solution that lets enterprises attract segment and nurture customers from discovery to biggest fan. It lets enterprises do effective engagement through various surfaces and touchpoints.

What youll do
- Mentor and guide high performing engineering team
- Be an inspiring leader in building services for next generation Multicloud service. Deliver highperformance web services that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs influence conceptualisation & outstanding problem solving
- Partner with global product management and engineering and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practicesroadmap and release plans
- Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projects
- Lead the technical design vision and implementation strategy
- Develop plan and lead the engineering team to complete the vision
- Apply bestpractices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable modular and of high code quality
- Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiency
- Attract hire onboard and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team as a playercoach to be a highperformance team.
- Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishments
- Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership use this knowledge to influence product direction
What You Need to Succeed
- 9 years of experiencein software development with aproven track record in a leadership or management role.
- Proficiency inPHPand at least oneobjectoriented language (Java C# or Python)for backend development.
- Strong database skillswith expertise inSQL and NoSQL databases(e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB).
- Experience infrontend technologies particularlyExtJS and React with experience in building and leading fullstack applications.
- Experience working withGraphQL WebSockets or eventdriven architectures.
- Deep understanding ofmodern software architecture including microservices eventdriven systems and APIfirst development.
- Experience withcloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)and their services for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency inversion control (Git) CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesfor software delivery.
- Familiarity withDocker Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Proven understanding ofsoftware development methodologies(Agile Scrum or Kanban) anddesign patterns.
- Handson experience withscalability and performance tuning for large applications.
- Ability to lead multifunctional teams mentor engineers and build highperforming development teams.
- Provenproblemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skillswith a strong bias for action.
- Excellentcommunication collaboration and managementskills.
- Experience inhiring coaching and career developmentof software engineers.
- Passion for building highquality software and improving engineering processes.
- BS/MS or equivalent experiencein Computer Science or a related field.
