Job description
Parttime Middle School Language Arts Teacher plans organizes and implements the instructional program in a Catholic learning environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.
Essential Functions:
Develop lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan and state of Indiana guidelines
Provide gradeappropriate engaging instruction and learning activities for school students that adheres to the schools philosophy goals and objectives
Observe and assess student progress keep detailed records observe student behavior and progress and communicate with parents.
Attend all faculty meetings professional development days and workshops.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelors a Degree in Education
Current State of Indiana teaching license
Trained in the Science of Reading
Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy goals and objectives
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn about the integration of technology into lessons
Practicing Catholic preferred
