Job Description

Angott Search Group is proud to partner with a wellestablished $150 million community bank in South Dakota in their search for a Senior Commercial Loan Officer. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the banks commercial lending operations ensuring sound credit practices strong client relationships and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commercial lending team providing guidance training and mentorship.

  • Oversee the loan approval process ensuring adherence to credit criteria pricing standards and regulatory guidelines.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions for underperforming loans including restructuring or collections.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships offering financial insights that support business growth and profitability.

  • Promote a culture of accountability customer service and ethical lending practices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven leadership experience in commercial lending

  • Strong background in credit analysis risk management and regulatory compliance

  • Excellent relationshipbuilding and communication skills

  • Ability to mentor and develop a highperforming lending team
