Position Description:
At CGI we shape the digital future with our clients. As a member of our dynamic Digital Customer Experience team youll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative largescale ecommerce projects in an agile collaborative and stimulating environment.
We are seeking a qualified FullStack Magento Developer to join our digital commerce team. You will play a key role in the design development customization and maintenance of Adobe Commerce ecommerce solutions working closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver engaging digital experiences aligned with business goals.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain highperformance scalable and maintainable Adobe Commerce applications.
Extend and customize Magento modules themes and features based on client needs.
Integrate various thirdparty services and APIs (payment PIM fraud prevention tax calculation etc..
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure a consistent and smooth user experience.
Work closely with backend developers to optimize performance and API integration.
Ensure code quality through unit testing and rigorous code reviews.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and development processes.
Implement SEO technical best practices with support from specialists.
Identify automation opportunities and recommend productivityenhancing tools.
Align development deliverables with product priorities and strategic objectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Reside in the province of Quebec.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Comfortable speaking French; English is an asset.
Minimum of 3 years of fullstack development experience in an ecommerce environment.
Proficient in PHP JavaScript HTML5 CSS and serviceoriented architectures.
Proven experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento and its ecosystem.
Skilled in RESTful APIs GraphQL and thirdparty service integrations.
Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL).
Familiarity with Agile practices and version control tools (Git BitBucket).
Experience with headless/APIfirst development and technologies such as PWA API MESH.
Understanding of WCAG 2.0 AA web accessibility standards.
Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure AWS GCP) and DevOps practices.
