Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled C engineer with extensive experience in highfrequency trading systems to join our trading team. In this role you will design and develop ultralowlatency trading infrastructure. Youll work closely with quantitative researchers and fellow technologists to build cuttingedge HFT systems that have a direct impact on our trading performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of lowlatency highfrequency trading (HFT) systems.
- Evaluate the existing platform and develop plans for a comprehensive revamp.
- Optimize system performance across hardware and software layers including CPU architecture memory/cache utilization and network interfaces (NICs).
- Ensure a clean welltested and thoroughly documented codebase.
Requirements
- Expertlevel proficiency in C and Linux with a deep understanding of lowlevel memory management concurrency and performance optimization.
- Proven experience developing ultralowlatency highthroughput systems preferably in trading or other realtime environments.
- Strong knowledge of profiling tools and techniques for latency measurement and benchmarking.
- Handson experience with network protocols (TCP/UDP multicast Ethernet) and lowlatency messaging systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
