About the Role:
As a Software Engineer II working on mobile platforms at Cyderes you will design and develop mobile web solutions utilizing React Native manage APIs and apply architectural principles to ensure scalable and efficient mobile applications. The candidate should have experience working efficiently on small teams being flexible filling roles and be familiar with cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP).Candidate should be detailoriented able to handle multiple highpriority demands while driving consistent results and have a passion for delivering wellengineered and tested code. We embrace the fastpaced development field and are looking for likeminded individuals that have a passion for continual improvement innovative ideas tinkering with new projects and taking on complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all team scrum ceremonies
- Participate in technical discussions and work with the team to design robust secure monitored and wellmaintained systems
- Support a 24x7 team oncall rotation for production incidents
- Engage in code review to ensure highquality code standards and foster knowledge sharing
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Work with CI/CD tools and processes to ensure seamless deployments
- Apply best practices in cybersecurity to safeguard mobile and web applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Continuously learn about new mobile/web technologies
- Bring the right attitude to the team including accountability ownership and positivity
Requirements:
- Hands on experience with mobile app development and design either native or hybrid platforms
- Minimum of 3 years in software development
- Experience working with React Native
- Experienced with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Upholds core values of accountability integrity empathy and responsiveness
- Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration specifically Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Terraform
- Acquainted with observability platforms such as Grafana Prometheus or Datadog
- Understands best practices throughout the SDLC encompassing code standards PR reviews build processes testing and deployments
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a nontechnical audience
