Job Summary
Synechron is looking for a skilled PLSQL Developer to join our team. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing database systems to support business objectives. The Sr. Associate PLSQL Developer will leverage their expertise in database concepts and PL/SQL to deliver highquality solutions that enhance performance and contribute to Synechrons strategic goals.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Proficiency in PL/SQL development.
- Strong skills in database concepts and administration.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in performance tuning.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with advanced database management tools and techniques.
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts to support database applications.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Conduct performance tuning to ensure efficient database operations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver database solutions that meet business needs.
- Understand and implement best practices in database concepts and administration.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Required: PL/SQL.
- Preferred: Experience with other database scripting languages.
Databases/Data Management:
- Required: Strong understanding of database concepts and systems.
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Preferred: Familiarity with tools used for database performance tuning.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in database administration and development.
- Proven experience in PL/SQL development within enterprise environments.
- Industry experience in technology finance or similar sectors is preferred.

- Participate in regular meetings with project teams to align database solutions with business objectives.
- Write and test PL/SQL scripts and complex SQL queries.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Document database processes and configurations for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications in database administration or PL/SQL development are preferred.
