Your contributions to the team include:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer contracts leases and vendor contracts.
- Oversight of general accounting activities ensuring they are executed in a way that supports the needs of the organization and is in compliance with both GAAP and the Company s accounting standards.
- Ensure that the various subledger support functions such as lease abstraction lease administration billing credit collections and accounts payable) are effectively supporting and meeting the needs of the department.
- Enhance the effectiveness of the control framework over all department activities while ensuring that the SarbanesOxley Act controls that relate to the DAS business are operating
- Bridge historical and current financial information into the budgeting and forecasting process. Support the Company s SG&A process that is led by Finance
- Design and implement ERP solutions that will enhance accounting functions and maintain GAAP compliance.
- Support annual quarterly and ad hoc reporting and analyses
- Actively engage with other accounting finance and operational teams.
- As an Accounting Manager you will oversee the recruitment performance management and career development of a team of Accountants. You ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in accounting finance or related discipline required; MBA or Masters in Accountancy and CPA highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting is required including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role is required.
- Strong organization planning and project management skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet deliverables and deadlines.
- Highlevel communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with a variety of leaders and employees in multiple disciplines
- Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
