We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Manager to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our hospitality management team you will oversee the reservations department ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing revenue through effective inventory management.
- Lead and manage the reservations team providing guidance training and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
- Collaborate with sales marketing and revenue management teams to create and execute promotional packages and special offers
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all reservations including individual group and corporate bookings
- Handle complex reservation inquiries changes and cancellations with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory across various distribution channels including the hotels website OTAs and GDS
- Generate and analyze reports on reservations occupancy and revenue performance
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to reservations promptly and professionally
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reservations management
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the reservations department
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies procedures and regulations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- 35 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS)
- Proven leadership experience in a hotel environment
- Excellent understanding of revenue management principles and practices
- Outstanding communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as required
