Are you passionate about harnessing the power of data and shaping the future of datadriven business solutions We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Data to lead the transformation of data within Financial Services. In this pivotal role you will play a critical part in shaping the data strategy enhancing technical data solutions and driving business growth through actionable insights
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Cocreate and execute the organizational data strategy working closely with stakeholders across divisions and jurisdictions
- Data Governance: Collaborate with the data governance teams to ensure data quality security and seamless flow throughout the organization
- Solution Design: Align business requirements with technical solutions design blueprints for data frameworks and ensure accessibility and security
- EndtoEnd Data Architecture: Manage the full data architecture lifecycle from platform selection to handson implementation ensuring solutions are deployed effectively
- Technical Guidance & Leadership: Lead the technical development of the team providing expertise in data management and architecture while mentoring and inspiring team members
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams to ensure successful delivery of data workstreams leveraging best practices and driving innovation
What Youll Bring:
- Expertise in Data Technologies: Strong experience with Azure Data C# Python TSQL and Azure DevOps. Expertise in platforms like PaaS CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Advanced Data Methods: Knowledge in predictive modeling NLP Machine Learning and Data Virtualization
- Agile & Project Management: Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in systems development and project management approaches
- Leadership: Proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration autonomy and high performance
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills able to effectively present and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
