Job Title: Personal Lines Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Sales Manager will oversee a team of sales professionals driving revenue growth through organic sales efforts and team development. This role is responsible for managing sales performance providing training and motivation and working closely with key stakeholders to increase sales opportunities. The Sales Manager will oversee daily operations hold team members accountable to KPIs and support the development of strategies to enhance team performance. Additionally the manager will likely manage a small book of business contributing to overall revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals driving performance through training coaching and development.
- Build and implement programs to help salespeople generate more revenue and exceed sales goals.
- Hold team members accountable to KPIs and performance targets offering support to those who are struggling to meet objectives.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions providing motivation and direction.
- Collaborate with marketing representatives carriers and external partners to identify new sales opportunities.
- Develop strategies to grow and retain existing business fostering longterm relationships with clients.
- Manage and support a small personal lines book of business handling client needs and driving revenue.
- Work with agencies across Missouri and Kansas to enhance the sales process and increase market penetration.
- Participate in external networking and industry events to promote the company and its offerings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid P&C (Property and Casualty) License required.
- Proven experience in personal lines insurance sales ideally with at least 5 years of selling experience.
- Previous experience in training or managing a sales team is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate coach and develop a team.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve business goals.
- Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a strong focus on achieving objectives.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry particularly in personal lines.
Compensation Package:
- Salary: Between $70K and $120K depending on experience.
- Bonus opportunities based on team performance.
