About the Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a large and innovative IT team. You will play a key role in the implementation of a critical security roadmap within a hybrid infrastructure (cloud and onpremises).
Your main responsibility will be to design deploy and manage security policies aimed at limiting lateral movement within the network through microsegmentation and zero trust principles. Technologies used may include Illumio Akamai Cisco Tetration VMware NSX or similar solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement segmentation policies in complex network environments.
Contribute to the rollout of zerotrust architectures.
Analyze network traffic and recommend enhancements to protect critical systems.
Support infrastructure and application teams by providing guidance on segmentation strategy.
Document and maintain policies to ensure visibility and compliance.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting on security and networkrelated issues.
What You Bring
Handson experience with one or more microsegmentation technologies (e.g. Illumio Akamai Cisco Tetration VMware NSX).
Solid understanding of zerotrust principles in hybrid IT environments.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including switches routers firewalls VPN 2FA and VDI.
Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across IT domains.
A selfdriven structured and solutionoriented mindset.
