Job Description
Amazon Shipping is seeking a Manager Finance Management for its US finance org. Amazon Shipping is full service Shipping Service Provider and is integral to the Amazon flywheel. This person will be a key leader in the Finance organization supporting the commercial finance aspects for the growing Amazon Shipping US business. This is a very high impact and high visibility role and offers good opportunities to support different demand streams and channels.
Key job responsibilities
Drive the Volume and Revenue forecasting processes for the organization including Annual Operating Plans 3 year Strategic Plan and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews in collaboration with Sales Revenue Management Marketing.
Educate business partners on financial and nonfinancial tradeoffs and make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
Partner with senior business leaders and develop operational metrics and goal setting to help the team improve performance
Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear concise and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Your communications drive critical business decisions.
Analyze ROI of different programs/initiatives and generate actionable insights from large amounts of data
Have backbone disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues harmonize conflicting views resolve issues and drive decisions.

BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science)
7 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 5 years of finance experience
3 years of direct management experience
MBA and/or Professional certification (CIMA ACCA ACA or CPA)
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
