Description
RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Airfreight Export Controller to join our clients dynamic logistics team in Kempton Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a detailoriented and experienced professional to coordinate and manage airfreight export operations within a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full airfreight export process from booking to final delivery
- Prepare and process export documentation including airway bills and commercial invoices
- Liaise with airlines freight forwarders and customs to ensure smooth cargo movement
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely departure and arrival
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and resolve any shipment issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and shipment data
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in airfreight exports within the freight forwarding/logistics industry
- Solid knowledge of international airfreight procedures and documentation
- Familiarity with Incoterms customs regulations and cargo tracking systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and relevant freight software
