THE POSITION





The current vacancy is a nonbenefited parttime 20 hours per week) position. The information provided in the Benefits tab of this posting is generic and does not apply to parttime positions.

Washington County Cooperative Library Services
(WCCLS) is currently seeking a Courier to sort and deliver library materials between our 16 member library locations in Washington County quickly getting books movies and more into the hands of our patrons! Couriers transport library materials using a 15foot 2ton box truck (no special license required) and sort library materials at our warehouse location in Hillsboro using Automated Material Handling equipment.

This position is a parttime 20hour a week position with a schedule of Saturdays Sundays and an additional week day as needed. Duties will be driving and sorting according to the schedule and as needed backing up other Couriers.

The ideal candidate is motivated friendly and excited about libraries. They like being part of a team and at the same time enjoy periods of solo work. They show attention to detail and can manage routine responsibilities while also being ready to pivot to meet the needs of the day.
