Job Description

Summary

This position provides executive level assistance to the Dean of the College of Musical Arts (CMA) including administrative oversight and coordination of all operations in the Deans Office. Primary duties include collegelevel scheduling budgeting contracting and purchasing major event planning data collection and collegelevel reporting coordination between Deans Office and three academic departments and communications with various campus offices.

Essential Functions

  • Provide assistance to the Dean
  • Coordinate collegelevel room scheduling
  • Support of PreCollege music programs (program director support correspondence registrations instructor background checks)
  • Assist Associate Dean as needed (correspondence summer budget special projects)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The following Degree is required:

  • Bachelors degree required. Degree must be conferred at the time of application.
The following Experience is required:
  • 2 years experience in communications budgeting and/or project/program management.
The following Experience is preferred:
  • 1 year experience in higher education
