Amazon Fuse helps third party subscriptionbased businesses better serve their customers by offering the selection convenience and value customers have come to know and love from Amazon including millions of Prime products and our full catalog of Prime Video.
The Fuse Data & Analytics (D&A) team is looking for a Data Engineer to influence Fuses direction using data insights. The ideal candidate is datacurious and possesses a strong analytical mindset. They excel at communicating with stakeholders and turning ambiguity and conjecture into actionable recommendations. They find opportunities where data will lead to better outcomes and mobilize the D&A team to meet them.
In this role you will be a technical expert with growing scope and impact. You will work with Product Managers Software Engineers Finance and Marketing Managers as well as fellow Data Engineers and BI Engineers to build new data pipelines and datasets that optimize for business impact. We are seeking someone who can thrive in a fastpaced highenergy work environment where we add value incrementally and frequently. Key job responsibilities
Architect develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines.
Extract transform and load data from a variety of sources using SQL scripting and AWS big data technologies.
Design and implement ETL pipelines and BI solutions.
Collaborate with business owners SDEs and BI Engineers to explore new data sources and deliver insights.
Stay up to date with advancements in big data technologies and contribute to pilot projects.
Proactively identify and resolve datarelated issues reducing operational load on the team.
1 years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience with SQL
Experience with one or more query language (e.g. SQL PL/SQL DDL MDX HiveQL SparkSQL Scala)
Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g. Python KornShell)
Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop Hive Spark EMR
Experience with any ETL tool like Informatica ODI SSIS BODI Datastage etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
