Pincushion Hill Montessori school follows the theory and practices of Doctor Maria Montessori. We are a legacy program that fosters individual growth collaboration and respect within our community. Our legacy program has been a success for over sixty years. We pride ourselves in offering a handson diverse spiraling curriculum. Our curriculum is heavily influenced by Dr Maria Montessori and STEM. The interior spaces provide many curated materials from astronomy to zoology and so much more. We have one Toddler room servicing ages 18 months to 2.9 years of age. There are two Childrens House classrooms servicing the individual needs of ages role of the support teacher is to assist where and when needed in various classrooms. This includes classroom coverage for daily recess lunch duties and regular meeting hours. The support teacher is to encourage a peaceful environment and nurture student independence by observing and redirecting as needed. Montessori classrooms provide a handson learning experience using didactic materials that meet the individual needs of the children. Additionally within our program the support teacher shall be a model of professionalism for parents children and support teacher is an individual needs of the children in accordance with the schools mission and vision.
