Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an energetic proactive and highly organised Events Project Manager to deliver a major event for which Freeths is a key sponsor. This fixedterm role is ideal for an enthusiastic Business Management & Marketing or Events Management graduate with attention to detail and the ability to stay on top of a busy schedule or someone with previous experience in events who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is looking to build or enhance their project management credentials.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of our event including the postevent followup activities. This will require you to work closely with internal stakeholders at Freeths and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly and reflects the Freeths brand. Youll be joining a friendly and collaborative marketing and business development team with plenty of support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in a highprofile project that will be seen across the industry.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a major sponsored event from endtoend ensuring everything is on track delivered on time and on brand.

  • Act as the main point of contact with event organisers suppliers sponsors and key internal stakeholders.

  • Manage guest lists invitations RSVPs and onsite logistics (e.g. venue liaison catering AV signage branding).

  • Plan and originate assets or attractions for our presence at the event including branded materials digital or physical stand features giveaways or interactive elements to ensure a memorable and engaging experience for attendees.

  • Coordinate event marketing activity including digital assets social media and preevent comms (working with the inhouse team).

  • Work with lawyers and speakers on their involvement and presentations ensuring all touchpoints reflect Freeths professional and approachable tone.

  • Lead on postevent followup activity including thank you emails feedback analysis data capture and supporting BD followups.

  • Monitor and report on event ROI and outcomes ensuring learnings are captured for future activity.

  • Ensure all activity is delivered in line with Freeths brand values and client experience expectations.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in planning and delivering events either in a standalone capacity or as part of a team is essential.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.

  • A proactive can do attitude and ability to take ownership and run with tasks independently.

  • Clear communicator confident liaising with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.

  • Experience within a professional services environment would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Excellent attention to detail both in terms of logistics and presentation.

  • Hybrid working; you must be available to attend the event in person 2nd June 5th June.

  • Educated to degree level or with relevant experience in events or marketing.
