Job Description
As a Business Analyst at AMG & Associates you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Youll analyze business processes gather requirements and recommend datadriven solutions to improve efficiency effectiveness and overall business value.
Responsibilities:
1. Gather & Analyze Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and elicit detailed business requirements using various techniques (e.g. interviews workshops surveys).
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze data to identify trends patterns and insights that inform business decisions and recommendations.
3. Process Improvement: Document existing business processes identify areas for improvement and propose optimized workflows.
4. Solution Design & Recommendation: Based on analysis develop and recommend solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic objectives.
5. Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs) user stories and functional specifications.
6. Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments (e.g. business leaders IT teams endusers) ensuring everyone is on the same page.
7. Testing & Validation: Participate in testing and validating implemented solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements.
8. Project Support: Support project teams throughout the implementation process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio).
6. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
7. Understanding of Agile methodologies and/or waterfall project management.
