Job Description
The Dry Paint Operator will serve our Water Heating Division located in Montgomery AL.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the powering on adjustment total operation and powering down of paint booths.
- Responsible for the powering on adjustment total operation and powering down of cure ovens.
- Must be able to perform minor maintenance/ preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.
- Responsible for monitoring mill thickness for adherence to specifications.
- Must perform cleanups to cure ovens and paint booths as required to maintain production.
- Responsible for making necessary equipment adjustments as needed.
- Must maintain daily reports.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Observe all departmental safety requirements.
- Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
- Work from written or verbal orders.
- Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers.
- May be exposed to high noise levels heat dust and airborne particles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Continuous lifting 15 lbs.
- Frequent lifting of 525 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of 2560 lbs.
- Must be able to stand walk and/or lift repetitively during shift.
- Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend twist/turn reach push/pull.
- Must have vision level appropriate for inspection.
