Job Description
As part of the Amazon Core Shopping organization we own and develop most of the core shopping experiences on Alexa and the Amazon app. Our goal is to create innovative product discovery experiences and deliver exceptional pre and postpurchase experiences for our customers.
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our Product Questions and Answers team for our Alexa customers. The team manages the Product Questions & Answers experience that helps customers research general product questions (e.g. What should I consider when buying a smartwatch) or specific product inquiries (e.g. Is this iPhone waterproof). This Sr. Technical Program Manager will work across the entire experience partnering with science and engineering teams to answer product questions leveraging Large Language Models (LLM).
In this role you will be responsible for scoping and managing the endtoend lifecycle of crossfunctional technology initiatives that create customer experiences globally. You will tackle challenging problems and coordinate highprofile projects across multiple crossfunctional teams. You will have the freedom to experiment improve and invent on behalf of our customers. You will play a pivotal role in unblocking innovation and increasing speed of delivery.

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
