Job Description

Job Summary: The Scheduling coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling of all outpatient surgical procedures for the outpatient orthopedic office. The Scheduling coordinator will schedule all preoperative and post operative appointments. The Scheduling coordinator will work closely with the office manager of our surgical scheduling team.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Minimum of one 1 year experience as surgery scheduler.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Additional languages desirable.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to type minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Knowledgeable in skills of patient/guest relations.
