Bank Theatre Porter Springfield Hospital Bank Hours

The Role

The role is physically demanding and involves working with Waste removal Medical gas bottle changing Handling and placing deliveries Movement of patient trolleys and beds taking in Laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied manual handling duties for which full training will be provided.

We are currently looking for a dynamic selfmotivated computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have ideally worked in a similar Porter position previously; however full training will be given.

  • Previous Healthcare experience would be advantageous

Springfield Hospital opened in 1987 and is one of Essexs leading private hospitals. It is a 64bedded hospital all with en suite facilities with parent and child rooms a 14bed Day unit and a high dependency unit.

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead you work on an adhoc basis filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability leaving you with a greater worklife balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
