Position Summary
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager The Server is responsible for delivering attentive efficient and friendly service in a dining setting. This role includes taking food and drink orders serving meals and beverages and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. The Server must possess thorough menu knowledge handle transactions accurately and address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly provide menu recommendations and address dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Accurately take and process orders using the pointofsale (POS) system and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service.
- Serve food and beverages with proper presentation and adherence to service standards while monitoring guest needs throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas including setting and clearing tables and ensure backofhouse areas are hygienic and tidy.
- Adhere to ProServe standards alcohol service regulations and all health and safety protocols including proper food handling.
- Present checks to guests process payments accurately and reconcile daily transactions following company policies.
- Assist in setting up and serving for special events or banquets including arranging seating and preparing service stations.
- Monitor inventory levels report shortages and assist in training new servers on menu items and service techniques.
- Address guest complaints or concerns according to procedures escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Contribute to departmental briefings collaborate with colleagues and assist in other resort areas as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in all Food & Beverage outlets.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.
- Eligible to work in Canada fulltime.
- Able to lift push or pull up to 40Ibs.
- Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently especially during busy service periods.
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- ProServe certification or willing to obtain.
- Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Duration: This is a FullTime seasonal position April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required.
