The Program Assistant position will perform a variety of duties to support research studies related to obesity treatment and other chronic health conditions such as cardiovascular disease diabetes and kidney disease. This position involves interaction with study participants research study staff and faculty.Job Description:
Job Duties
Support communication management: website updates meeting agendas handling studyrelated documents and managing phone and mail correspondence.
Assist with maintaining program supplies equipment and maintenance agreements.
Coordinate meeting logistics: order food prepare agenda take minutes. Support staff with current and potential participant communications and recruitment.
Assist with research participant checkin/checkout.
Ensure compliance with research regulations and protocols.
Assist with data entry.

Work Environment
Able to work mornings with the possibility of some evening work on occasion.
This position is based in Kansas City KS but the candidate may be required to work periodically at the research site located in Lawrence KS.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience:
Previous experience working in a clinical or research setting.
Experience with data entry.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a teamoriented environment.
Computer skills that are included but not limited to Microsoft Suite.

Comprehensive Benefits Package:

At the University of Kansas Medical Center a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
