Job Description


Turner & Townsend is seeking a Program Manager to join our San Francisco Bay area Project Management team and support the delivery of capital projects across a range of sectors including commercial real estate corporate interiors healthcare and data centers. This role involves hands-on project coordination stakeholder engagement and process support working closely with senior team members and client representatives.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of capital projects across commercial real estate healthcare and data center sectors ensuring alignment with client objectives and project requirements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project plans schedules and budgets while tracking progress and identifying potential risks or delays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams external consultants contractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution of project tasks and milestones.
  • Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress assess quality and safety compliance and support issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes RFIs submittals change orders and closeout materials.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client-facing reports and presentations summarizing project status risks and key decisions.
  • Support project governance processes including stage gate reviews stakeholder updates and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers to ensure consistent delivery standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in construction management engineering architecture or a related technical field; a Masters degree is a plus and may substitute for some experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting capital projects ideally across sectors such as commercial real estate healthcare or data centers.
  • Strong understanding of project controls including budgeting scheduling forecasting and performance tracking with hands-on experience using project management tools.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with design and construction teams either in the field or in a project coordination role with exposure to all phases of project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI with the ability to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing reports presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation procurement processes and standard contract forms (e.g. AIA FIDIC or similar) with the ability to support contract administration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn take initiative and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Professional certifications such as CAPM OSHA 30 or LEED Green Associate are beneficial and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.


Additional Information :


The salary range for this full-time role is $120K-$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
