St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital is seeking a talented highly motivated scientific Program Coordinator to join the Center of Excellence for Innate Immunity and Inflammation (CoEIII) under the direction of Dr. ThirumalaDevi Kanneganti. This is your chance to be part of an innovative team dedicated to defining innate immune mechanisms driving health and disease. Our focus areas include: 1 understanding the fundamental mechanisms of III and 2 investigating the roles of III across the disease spectrum. In this position the successful candidate will lead the coordination of the Centers activities and provide the scientific communications and administrative support to facilitate that mission.

What Youll Do
As Program Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
Develop communications strategies for the Center to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Write a variety of scientific technical and/or complex documents including abstracts summary statements newsletters meeting announcements agendas and progress reports.
Develop presentation slide decks to present the Centers objectives and progress.
Coordinate the Centers yearly symposium with internal and external attendees and a robust scientific program.
Define program or project requirements identify interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers and coordinate to receive their input.
Develop project plans and/or programmatic processes and track/interpret metrics.
Support the design and implementation of policies processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements for better planning scope management and risk prevention.
Engage with program management teams internally and vendors externally for coordination.
Organize and maintain Center scientific stocks and reagents including cell lines specimens and other biological materials.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance for biological and chemical safety and assist with institutional and regulatory protocol amendments revisions and submissions.
Prepare and publish website content.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the Center.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree required.
Masters or PhD preferred.
Minimum Experience
Minimum requirement: 3 years of experience in research program management and scientific communications.
Significant experience working with project planning and communications tools (e.g. MS Project Microsoft SharePoint ServiceNow Smartsheet Clarity Planview MS Office).
Experience managing scientific programs at a research institution is preferred.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
