Position at Hudson Valley Cardiovascular
The Heart Center is seeking a Full Time board certified Nurse Practitioner to join its established and growing Cardiology Practice (Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice PC). This inpatient position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. This is an excellent employed opportunity at a large community hospital in a beautiful suburban location in the MidHudson Valley region of New York.
Job Highlights:
Provide care for a high volume fast paced inpatient Cardiology service in collaboration with an outstanding team of cardiologists
Provide coverage for urgent and emergent matters
Conduct rounds
Perform consultations admissions and discharges
Supervise stress tests
Active clinical research program
Ample oneonone teaching from Cardiology attendings
3 13 hour shifts per week (some nights weekend and holidays required)
Collegial group and balanced work/life schedule

Qualifications:
NYS License and Board Certification
Cardiology and critical care experience preferred
New grads will be considered with relevant experience
Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a brand new 696000squarefoot eightlevel inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region including a Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology.
