Student Intern Summer Technology Workers

Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking parttime Summer Student Technology Interns to work in the MCPS Technology Department. We are filling up to six 6 temporary positions.
These temporary positions are anticipated to begin on or around May 27 2025 and end on or around August 12 2025.
These positions are open to current MCPS students only.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The parttime Student Technology Intern will perform routine maintenance on all computer equipment including but not limited to Chromebooks tablets desktop workstations interactive displays and AV equipment.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to labeling cleaning updating devices unboxing removing equipment and preparing equipment for disposal. The employee is expected to undertake any other general tasks as directed.
Students will also gain experience in the operations of a large Technology Department including customer service teamwork independent troubleshooting and general Technology Department operations.
Work schedule will be ten 10 hours/day Monday through Thursday during the time period of May 27 2025 through August 12 2025.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
HIRING PREFERENCE FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR STUDENTS DUE TO 10 HOURS WORK DAYS
Hourly Rate: $15.00 $35.85 (depending on work experience with Montgomery County Public Schools)
FLSA: Nonexempt
