Job Description

High School Math Teacher 1.0 F.T.E.Position OverviewPioneer Valley Regional School is seeking a dynamic high school math teacher who can teach a range of courses including Algebra I Algebra II and Statistics. The ideal candidate is committed to instructional equity and able to support students with a wide range of math Pioneer Valley Regional School District values educators at all stages of their careers. We welcome applications from both new and experienced teachers who are committed to student growth and collaborative practice.Qualifications

Current MA license in Mathematics (grades 812 or 512 or eligible to for licensure
Strong knowledge of the MA Curriculum Frameworks for Mathematics
Demonstrated ability to use backward design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles in planning
Demonstrated experience in designing equitable inclusive instruction for students with diverse learning needs including English learners students with disabilities and those working above or below grade level.
Highly organized and reflective instructional practices
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a team
Excellent judgment
