The International Security team is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees delivery security Of the cloud to support customer facing engagements.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) with our team youll influence and own longterm security outcomes for AWS. Youll be working for government and regulated industries to understand their needs. Youll be able to design security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively securely and safely. You will work with your manager peers partners and customers to innovate and deliver on the vision and purpose of your programs. We encourage team members and management alike to have a high degree of ownership for their program vision and of ideas. While working directly with AWS service teams infrastructure and administrative teams youll identify opportunities to improve AWS project security posture. This will include building tools driving process improvements and working with service owners and cuttingedge technology to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
You prioritize well communicate clearly and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivery. You are proactive in removing roadblocks pave the way for innovation and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment. You will be a positive influencer across diverse international teams be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your program goals.

Technical leadership roles; technical program management systems architecture or system development
Experience in core project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management on highly technical initiatives
Experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
Comfort and experience with crossorganizational communication; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience driving overall strategy and teams across organizations
Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving downstream programmatic risks (i.e. system incompatibility resource unavailability) and opportunities (i.e. schedule opportunities decoupling dependencies)
Clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture
Demonstrate innovative security approaches in nontraditional IT environments
