Job Description
Responsibilities
Performs an assortment of complex engineering duties. Duty requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Design and fabricate prototype circuit boards for pulse power systems
- Create documentation for existing prototypes and follow on production boards
- Identify capability gaps in current EE infrastructure both in the WMA and at a remote CONUS customer site and propose solutions to address those gaps
- Create multiple electrical engineering solutions to pulse power problems to address system risk issues
- Maintain lab spaces to ensure ability to maintain operations
- Utilize digital and analog solutions to address complex electrical engineering challenges
- Assist with systems integration efforts incorporating pulse power systems into a larger system
Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS and 8 years of experience; Masters and 6 years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required
- 3 years of experience as a electrical engineer or similar role with sponsor
- Demonstratedexperience supporting the sponsor organization
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing technical requirements and conducting technical reviews of documentation
- Comprehensive experience working in the IC
- Proactive selfstarter able to support multiple efforts simultaneously
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word PowerPoint Excel and Visio
- Strong understanding of Sponsor systems and capabilities
